Franziska Tachtler (program chair)
Franziska Tachtler is a Marie Curie PhD Fellow and project assistant at HCI group, Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) and investigating how technologies can be used to deliver (and, if needed, re-interpret) existing evidence-based interventions promoting resilience in unaccompanied migrant youth. As part of the PhD project, she collaborates with the Medical University Vienna and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families in London.
She studied Interaction Design (MSc) at the Malmö University (SE) and holds a bachelor degree in Fine Arts and Multimedia with a Minor in Media Informatics (LMU Munich, DE). She worked as a visiting lecturer in Interface Design at LMU Munich and as a graphic and interface designer for several companies. As an interaction designer, she would like to design technology for people. Her interests are user experience design, tangible interfaces, participatory design and interactive art.
